Geoff Nicholson - guitar
- 1967 - Fender Telecaster and Vox AC 30 amplifier
- 1968 - Fender Stratocaster and Marshall 100 watt amplifier with 2 Marshall 4x12 speaker cabinets
- 1969 - Gibson SG special i Fender Tremolux amplifier (used on Mercator Projected)
As Geoff Nicholson recalls in e-mail to me: "This guitar was stolen soon after and replaced with:
- Epiphone Crestwood Custom guitar (made in 1961).
"I also used a Klemt S100 amplifier. I used these on Snafu plus as a small 10watt amplifier with no name"
Dave Arbus - violin
- used a Barcus Berry pickup on his violin, which went through a Vox AC30 amplifier.
Ron Caines - sax
- used a Gibson Maestro octave divider and pickup on his sax.
Steve York - bass
- used a 1964 Fender Precision bass and a Selmer 100 watt amplifier and two 18" speakers in home made cabinets
Andy Sneddon - bass
- used a Fender Jazz bass and Marshall 100 watt amplifier.
Joe O'Donnell - violin
- used: 1. eight-string stero violin with Barcus Berry pickup 2. Violectra - an electric viola tuned to the same scale
and range as a cello
3. two H/H 100 watt amplifiers and pair of 1205A Altec cabinets, each with a 1 x 15
4. six-channel stereo mixer by Allen & Heath
5. Jen Cry Baby - wah-wah - pedal, Top Gear Rotosound unit, Binson Echorette Mk. II (echo)
Martin Fisher - bass
- used: 1. 1963 Fender V1 - 6 string bass
2. 1955 Gibson les paul Goldtop through an Arbiter 3octave divider
3. H/H.100 watt bass amplifier with 2 X JBL K140 speakers in JBL design scoop P.A. bass cabs.
Al Parkes - keyboard
- used a Fender Rhodes and a Mini Moog. Fender and Ampeg amplification.
Peter Filleul - keyboard
- used a Fender Rhodes Suitcase piano and two Korg amps
Jeff Allen - drums
