In 1983 Martin Cure (voc), Bob Poole (bg), Paul Shanahan (g), Steve Walvyn (g),
Ted Duggan (dr), Bob Jackson (keyboards; ex- Indian Summer, ex-Badfinger)
decided to begin a new group called Red on Red. However, after the short time the
group was left by Bob Jackson. He was replaced with Mark Steeds (keyboards).
The next new member was (on Duggan's side) Paul Brook, (dr) who in 70's had
been playing in Cupid's Inspiration. Red on Red were still giving concerts and even

There is available a re~edition of "Metal for Muthas" (Mystic Prod.AIRCD 6, year:2000; Canyon Int. PCCY 01454, year: 2000,
Japan). The same song you can find on a released in Japan in 1990 record with meaningful title "The Bible of Hard Rock"
(Toshiba - EMI) and CD "Lightinin' to the Nations: NWOBHM 25th Anniversary Collection" (Castle Music, CMETD
1022, date: 10.10.2005).
Unfortunately until the begining of 2005, no record companies had re~released any of the Chevy recordings. I got e-mail (03.2005)
from Olli Klemm who run a small label specialized on CD reissues of long~lost heavy metal bands. I reach with Martin Cure and
B.Poole. The German record label High Voltage had put together the first official release of the orginal Chevy album "The Taker".
This was to include all the Chevy singles and B-sides plus some other previously unreleased material and a sixteen page booklet
with photos and information about the band. There was even a rumor that there may be a DVD of the only recorded live Chevy
television performance. Unfortunately, the label (as for September 2007) hasn't fullfilled it's promises. Due to that, Bob Poole,
with permission from other band members, put the stuff from "Taker" to justaloud.com Stuff from the album may be downloaded
from the server for a small fee (as for 1st Sept 2007, for about 9C). To download you have register and after receiving a mail from
the server, log in and search - Taker,Chevy or B.Poole. Till now, everything is free. The price depends on popularity of particular
song. Some of them are for free, for some you have to pay. Prices are written next to the titles. B.Poole made the next album with
previously unreleased Chevy material. He put the stuff on the server as "Chevy - The Live Album - Totally plugged"
